Meet James Teng

Dr. Teng has been practicing in Santa Cruz since 2017. He specializes in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on facial cosmetic surgery, rhinoplasty, and skin cancer reconstruction.

His thoughtful approach has been instrumental to achieving successful and impressive results. He is also knowledgeable and skilled in nonsurgical treatments, including injectable fillers, Botox, and topical skin treatments.

Beyond Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

In addition to facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Teng is trained to evaluate and treat a variety of conditions affecting the head and neck. He has trained with many of the top experts in head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery. He graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He then went on to train in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Virginia.

Finally, he spent additional time in a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship in Tampa, Florida. He has published multiple journal articles and book chapters on the topic of facial plastic surgery.
