Who We Are

Santa Cruz ENT Medical Group (Ear, Nose and Throat) is a group of dedicated ENT doctors and audiologists whose passion is to help you and improve our community. We live and work here and want to see our neighbors thrive. From preventing to diagnosing to treating whatever brings you to see our experienced doctors, you can be assured the professionals at Santa Cruz Ear, Nose & Throat Medical Group will work tirelessly until you feel at ease.

We are independent, experienced specialists treating disorders of the head and neck. We provide state-of-the-art, caring treatment of ear, nose, and throat diseases. Our care spans from sinus disease to head and neck cancer and from disorders of hearing and balance to pediatric issues including ear infections and tonsillitis.

Daniel A. Spilman

When I made the decision to specialize in ear, nose and throat care and facial cosmetic medicine, I also made the commitment to research the newest, most effective techniques and to learn from respected leaders in each field. I continue to assess relevant innovations in technology and procedures.

James Teng

MD

Dr. Teng has been practicing in Santa Cruz since 2017. He specializes in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on facial cosmetic surgery, rhinoplasty, and skin cancer reconstruction.

Christopher C. Xiao

MD

Dr. Xiao is passionate about patient-centered, evidence-based medicine. He is committed to providing excellent comprehensive care in all areas of otolaryngology, with a special interest in nasal and sinus surgery, sleep surgery, and otologic disease.

Dr. Rachel Ersoff treats hearing loss with expertise in underlying medical conditions such as Meniere's Disease, otosclerosis, noise trauma, eustachian tube dysfunction, chronic middle ear infections, and sudden hearing losses.

Dr. Kenneth Norton, Au.D., brings over 25 years of professional audiology experience to each encounter at Santa Cruz ENT. Ken, as he prefers, uses his personal experience with hearing loss and hearing aid use to provide empathy and understanding to his hearing healthcare clients.

James F. Holmes

Dr. James F. Holmes has over a decade of experience of helping patients with ear and hearing related concerns. A native of San Jose, California, he earned his undergraduate degree in Creative Arts at San Jose State University, and completed his doctoral degree in Audiology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans.
